Detox smoothies are a quick and yummy way to cleanse your body of toxins and also help with fast weight loss. They usually contain fresh veggies and can be whipped up with your every day kitchen blender.

Detox smoothies are full of vitamins, antioxidants, fiber, and other helpful nutrients. They also contain water which helps to hydrate your body and boost metabolism!

Green detox smoothies are popular because the majority of detox smoothie recipes call for some kind of green leafy vegetable, which gives it its distinctive green color.

But don’t be fooled, these green smoothies taste wonderful and you can’t even taste the leafy vegetables! This green detox smoothie helps with energy boost, prevents bloating, provides TONS of vitamins/antioxidants, and keeps you craving healthy foods!!

Detox smoothies are also great when you want to experiment with a raw vegan diet. When you cook your foods you lose a lot of the nutrients, so drinking detox shakes are useful because they are completely raw which gives you ALL of the natural vitamins and nutrients these veggies and fruits have to offer!

It’s this simple, measure out your ingredients (or just use as much as you like), add the blender, mix, and POOF you’re done!!!

Ingredients:

1 green apple

2 cups of Kale

1 cup of spinach

Half of a cucumber (diced)

1/4 cup of Lemon Juice

1 tsp Ginger

8oz water

This shake is tangy, delicious, and great for you!

TIP: For maximum benefit drink for at least 3 days out of the week 🙂
